  Hello! Thanks for the request to be part of your group of friends in Hispanicpro. I was reading you profile and thought what an ispiring story he has. I am sure that I can use you book in my classroom. This will inspire my students, who came to the US leaving thier family and friends, and are strugling to overcome the obsticles to a better.

  Hi Robert. Yes, I do enjoy my work...particularly teaching my Latino Studies courses. It can be challenging though (when students don't read). I'll have to read your book...sounds fascinating.
