About me
I am the Director of the Center for Urban Business (CUB), a 501c(3) non-profit organization, at the College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). In this role, I manage CUB and its Illinois Small Business Development Center that provides one-on-one business consulting and seminar training to small-and-medium-sized companies to assist them in becoming successful business enterprises. I also serve as an Advisor for the Entrepreneurial Student Teams Program (ESTP) where UIC student consulting teams assist entrepreneurs in solving real business issues. Since 2001, I have been working with and assisting business owners and entrepreneurs to grow or start their companies. Furthermore, I have been an active participant in the business community through my leadership on planning committees and conducting speaking engagements to established businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. So if you need assistance with growing or financing your business, please contact me or my center. I completed my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2007 with concentrations in International Business and Entrepreneurship. I received my Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University in 1999.
