Robert will be receiving Central Asia Institute's Outstanding Humanitarian Award for his tireless efforts to inspire troubled youth to replace violence and gangs with education and accomplishment. More than 30,000 copies of his book-From the Barrio to the Board Room have been sold. Renteria is also the founder of the non-profit, From the Barrio Foundation.
