Our Theme: The Rest of The Caribbean!!! CAMA will be recruiting other Caribbean nationalities to participate in the 2010 Puerto Rican Day Parade. The parade route runs on Columbus from Balbo to Monroe. It is one of the largest parades held in the Midwest. Over 300,000 people of different ethnic and racial groups from all over Illinois and the surrounding suburbs come together to celebrate. For a $5.00 participation fee the organizers will provide light refreshments; for those who choose not to pay the participation fee be sure to bring water to prevent dehydration.
