About me

I am a first generation Mexican American, and work as an Accounting Specialist in the Kovitz - Family Office Services group. I began working in public accounting at a big four accounting firm in 2003 with a focus on tax services. My focus changed to client accounting services when I made the transition to mid-sized accounting firms. I have provided accounting services for multiple types of privately held companies while also consulting/training clients on accounting software. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University and was born and raised on Chicago’s south side. When not at work, I love spending time outdoors, camping with my husband and two grade school-age children and traveling abroad.
