Save the Date for Baile de las Calaveras!
On Friday, November 15th, the Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC) at Mujeres Latinas en Acción will host the Fourth Annual Baile de las Calaveras fundraiser at the Abbey Pub, 3420 W. Grace St. in Chicago (7:30 pm to 11:30 pm). This exciting event commemorates the Day of the Dead and helps to underwrite the crucial work of Mujeres – supporting disadvantaged Latinas and their families in Chicago for more than 40 years.
As is our tradition, Baile de las Calaveras will include a breadth of activities to honor and share Latin culture, including a 2-hour salsa performance by Grupo Charangueo, face painting, fortune tellers, raffle prizes and a dance competition for all attendees.
Tickets are $25 before Nov. 1, $35 after Nov. 1, and include one free drink.
