In 2003, Catalyst, the leading research and advisory organization working to advance women in business, conducted a study about Latina employees and found that although the Latino community is rapidly growing, there are not equal number of Latinas in leadership positions, unfortunately that study still holds true today.  Dr. Damary Bonilla-Rodriguez, our keynote speaker, completed her own survey as part of her PhD research to help answer these key questions:

1.  What are the characteristics of successful Latina leaders?

2.  Which factors have a positive influence in Latina leaders?

3.  What obstacles hinder Latinas from pursuing leadership roles?
