For the past three years, UNO has put together a one of a kind 5k race in the heart of Chicago’s Pilsen and University Village to raise money for the afterschool programs of the UNO Charter School Network. And just like every year, we have a few tricks up our sleeve to make the race even more exciting and entertaining. New for 2010, UNO will be introducing a team fundraising competition! Prizes which include the coveted “skulls” will be awarded to the fastest team, but awards will also be given for the teams and individuals who raise the most money. If you are interested in forming a team please be sure to check the box when you register for the race or send us an email at uno5k@unocharterschools.org .
