On Wednesday, September 16, 2009, Mexican Independence Day, the Historic Pilsen Community will be bustling with hungry visitors attending the second annual Buen Provecho! Pilsen restaurant tour. Over twenty-five local restaurants, cafes and bakeries will be participating in the restaurant tour providing visitors with a sample of their delectable dishes. Participating venues including well-established restaurants as well as newcomers to the neighborhood, such as Cuernavaca, Don Churro, Fogata Village, Nightwood, Fig Catering and Ciao Amore.Ticket prices are $25 in advance/$30 day of and can be purchased online at www.eighteenthstreet.org or day of at 1743 S. Halsted.
