The Department of Education of the State of Jalisco, Mexico and the Jalisciense Federation of the Midwest (FEDEJAL) invites you to it’s 1st College Fair, Saturday, November 5th and Sunday, November 6th from 9:30am to 6:30pm in “Casa Jalisco” located at 1600 W. Lake St., Melrose Park, IL 60160. The purpose of this singular event in history is to offer immigrants and non-immigrants, documented or undocumented, bi-national options for their education advancement at the college level. There will be workshops on Saturday on different subjects: financial assesment, college counseling and and the Dream Act. On this day, important speeches will also be given by Sergio Suarez, President of FEDEJAL, Antonio Gloria Morales, Secretary of the Department of Education of the State of Jalisco, Mexico and JC Gonzalez Mendez, President of McDonald’s of Latin America. Admission is free and there is plenty of parking available.
