Friday, October 1, marks the first day of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join local nonprofit agency Between Friends while they pay tribute to those who have lost their lives to domestic violence at the 15th Annual “Light up the Lakefront” Luminaria.The event will take place at Oak Street Beach, located at 1000 North Lake Shore Drive, on Friday, October 1, from 7:30 to 8:00 pm.For further information, visit BetweenFriendsChicago.org or call (773) 274-5232.
