Diane Sánchez, the new president and CEO of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has the polish you’d expect of someone who’s worked in executive suites as long as she has.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, the 64-year-old Sánchez spent much of her career in management at telecommunications and telecom-infrastructure companies, including a stint as Alcatel-Lucent’s senior vice president of sales and operations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
