Born and raised in East Chicago, IN. Educated at Indiana University, University of Wisconsin, Madison and The University of Notre Dame. Served as Director of the East Chicago Public Library, Director of Information Technology for the City of East Chicago and currently serve as East Chicago Fire Commissioner.
