About me

I was born into a working-class neighborhood in the city of Chicago. From a humble inner city childhood, raised in a house overlooking the Kennedy Expressway, made me the student, the community activist of Chicago. Nurtured by strong working-class values, I have made it as my goal to promote social and economic justice in the historically underprivileged communities of the southwest side of Chicago.

Organizations & clubs

I co-founded an organizaton called nova zora sports to enhance the people by having a sports program in various communities. The children, youth, and adults have the opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and values they seek to become fulfilled individuals. Nova Zora Sports encourage older adults to maintain and enhance their well-being and independence through a lifestyle that embraces daily physical activities.

Hobbies & interests

Going on long walks with my wife Veronica, coaching little league baseball, reading, spending time with family & friends, making new friends & meeting interesting people, and running with my two chihuahuas Leche & Queso.
