About me
Born in Mexico and raised in southern California after the age of eight, I was drafted to play football at the University of Iowa in 1999. It was there I received a B.A. in Spanish to earn an International Business Certificate and a minor in Marketing. Upon graduation and finishing my football career, I was drafted by the New York Giants of the NFL (National Football League) for one year and then traded to the New England Patriots. I finished my NFL career in 2005 and began a career in the healthcare industry in office management and human resources until 2012 when an opportunity was presented to venture in a start-up company in commercial real estate. It is with commercial real estate I have found my passion for entrepreneurialism and embrace new ‘challenges’ as opportunities each day. I met my wife while at the University of Iowa and we currently reside downtown Chicago with our young daughter. While we have lived downtown Chicago for eight years, we are still very active in exploring what the city has to offer, and of course, trips out to the University of Iowa during football season to cheer on our beloved Iowa Hawkeyes.
What is your current career title or dream job?
I am currently an associate commerical real estate broker with JBS Commercial with my focus in office, flex and industrial sales and leasing. I look forward to the new experiences my clients bring each day. The wide range of businesses I have had the pleasure of helping place in various locations has contributed to the depth of my knowledge in the industry and I couldn’t ask for a more rewarding experience.
