I forgot to include explanations of the videos.

The first video was done in the WTTW studios as a part of the series that showcased artists that receive grants from the Illinois Arts Council. Sones de Mexico Ensemble www.sonesdemexico.com played the music and is on another stage off camera. I will try to get permission to show the entire show including Sones.

The second video was also produced by WTTW TV Chicago. It is a short version of a longer documentary of the immigration dilemma in Berdstown, IL.. Beardstown had lost one third of its population as young people moved out seeking a more professional life. Thus industry needed workers. Cargil Meat Solutions, one of the largest meat packers in the world, brought in workers from Texas and California but it needed more so it brought them in from Mexico and from Latin America. The townspeople did not appreciate this and there was predjudice. However it helped the town grow again to more than its original population. Once closed businesses reopend with Latin owners and Latin activities became the largest events. Sams Club and other merchants came in, etc. I will try to get permission to show the original length video.

The third video is with Pepe Aguilar at the 2007 Premio lo Nusetro Awards in Miami. MFDC also performed with him in 2009 and I will post that video later.

There is another video with Juan Gabriel and it will be posted at a later date.
